Pride and Prejudice (2014)

Han Yeol-Moo feels quite on fire as she finally starts her job as a rookie lawyer. However, her motivation drowns swiftly, as she meets her almost-lover Koo Dong-Chi right in front of the building. And her day gets “even better,” as she finds out that she’s going to be on the same team as him. The third person in her team is the young policeman Kang Soo, Dong-Chi’s protégé, and the three of them work surprisingly well as a team, solving difficult crimes.

But then a young boy of nine years dies dramatically and Yeol-Moo must relive a trauma from her past. Her brother died after being kidnapped—the case was never solved. Thus, the three start to unroll the case once again and to their surprise they find more connections with each other than just having the same work place. And the key might be Kang Soo’s hidden memories that start to resurface …

Han Yeol-Moo ist hoch motiviert, als sie an ihrem ersten Arbeitstag als Anwaltslehrling anfangen darf. Ihre Freude ist jedoch schnell getrübt, als sie vor dem Bürokomplex auf Koo Dong-Chi trifft, mit dem sie in der Vergangenheit beinahe eine Beziehung eingegangen wäre, und der Tag wird noch besser für sie, als sie auch noch in Dong-Chis Team eingeteilt wird. Mit von der Partie ist Kang Soo, Dong-Chis Protegé und eigentlich Kriminalermittler, und schnell werden die drei ein gutes Team, das viele Fälle lösen kann.
Ein dramatischer Fall einer verstorbenen Neunjährigen lässt ein Trauma aus Yeol-Moos Vergangenheit wieder wach werden. Ihr Bruder verstarb nach einer Entführung, der Fall wurde nie geklärt. Als sie den Fall neu aufrollen, müssen die drei plötzlich feststellen, dass sie weitaus mehr verbindet, als nur der gleiche Arbeitsplatz. Und der Schlüssel könnte in Kang Soos verdrängten Kindheitserinnerungen liegen, die nach einer Mission langsam wieder durchsickern.
