Im letzten Jahr der Oberschule trifft Taichi Ichinose auf seinen damaligen Kindheitsfreund Touma Mita. Obwohl dieser das genaue Gegenteil von Taichi zu sein scheint – beliebt, sportlich und groß gewachsen –, fangen die beiden an, zunehmend Zeit miteinander zu verbringen und ihre damalige Freundschaft wieder aufleben zu lassen. Eines Tages wird Taichi von der schüchternen, unscheinbaren Futaba Kuze gebeten, ihr zu einem Date mit Touma zu verhelfen. Anfangs abgeneigt, entscheidet sich Taichi schließlich dazu, seiner Mitschülerin zu helfen. Doch Gefühle gehen oft ihren eigenen Weg, wodurch die drei Oberstufenschüler zunehmend mit Problemen konfrontiert werden, die alles verändern könnten …
