Die Welt des Omegaverse ist mit ihren sechs möglichen Geschlechtern recht kompliziert, da das Geschlecht männlich oder weiblich jeweils mit einem der Geschlechter Alpha, Beta und Omega kombiniert ist. Die herausragende Besonderheit ist, dass männliche Omega schwanger werden und Kinder zur Welt bringen können. Keisuke Takaba (Alpha) hatte gleich nach seinem Studium in einer kleineren Firma gearbeitet, in der der Chef (Alpha) seine Angestellten (Beta, Omega) regelmäßig belästigt hatte. Jetzt ist es ihm gelungen, eine Anstellung in einer großen Firma zu bekommen, in der etwas derartiges nicht passieren dürfte.

Keisukes direkter Vorgesetzter in der neuen Firma ist Miyabi Karasuma (Omega). Omegas sind relativ selten in Führungspositionen anzutreffen, da sie auch als männliche Mütter bei den männlichen Alphas sehr begehrt sind. Aus der Sicht von Miyabi ist Keisuke für einen Alpha sehr zurückhaltend. Zwischen männlichen Alphas und Omegas besteht eine sehr starke Pheromon gesteuerte Anziehung, die im Arbeitsleben fast immer mit Medikamenten unterdrückt wird. Jedoch gibt es hierbei auch Nebenwirkungen und Unverträglichkeiten.
