3000 Jahre später gerät die Schülerin Kuruna auf einem Ausflug zum Gedenktag Seelenbinders in einen Sandsturm. Ihre Retter sind ausgerechnet zwei wilde Typen mit übernatürlichen Fähigkeiten – Liberi, die von einem größenwahnsinnigen Wissenschaftler erschaffen wurden. Plötzlich steckt Kuruna mitten in einem Kampf zwischen Gut und Böse um das geheimnisvolle Liberi-Projekt.
