Fumi Oono, a poor second-year high school student, does not have it easy. Due to her father’s debts, she has been kicked out of her own home and in order to get by, she must now, completely on her own, rely on her own contacts and struggle through. So one thing leads to another and she starts working as a housekeeper for the author Akatsuki Kibikino in return for accommodation.
