Chika FUJIWARA

Information

Description

Chika Fujiwara is a second-year high school student at the Shuchiin Academy. She’s the secretary of the student council and a member of the Tabletop Gaming Club. Besides her school uniform, she always wears a black ribbon in the middle of her square bangs. However, Yuu Ishigami and Miyuki Shirogane can’t explain how she keeps her ribbon on her hair. In addition to that, she’s the older sister of Moeha, the younger sister of Toyomi and the daughter of diplomatic parents.

Chika is a highly motivated person, always wearing a smile on her face. Fittingly, she is always looking for an opportunity to have fun with the other council members. She comes up with the most diverse ideas to entertain herself and her friends. Thus, they already played different games in the student council room, like “Taboo”, “Memory” or her self-created “Happy-Life Game”. Overall, she’s a big fan of board games and the German culture but also of other foreign countries’ cultures. This unusual interest probably comes from the way her parents raised her: she wasn’t allowed to play video games or other things like that.

Since middle school, Kaguya Shinomya is the best friend of Chika. She often stayed for sleepovers with Kaguya on her residence to keep up their friendship. Nevertheless, the friendship of Kaguya and her is not that good, especially because of Kaguya’s personality.

Most of her classmates, including Kaguya, believe that Chika is not the smartest, because of her appearance. But she’s actually very talented in different things: she speaks five languages fluently, is a great musical talent, especially on the piano, and she is very good in sports. Still, she’s not as intelligent as the other council members. But somehow, she’s able to compete with them by using brilliant tricks – even if her tricks sometimes ignore moral values. This way, for example, she won at a Taboo Game by pretending to be depressed to make Kaguya loose, and she also developed a brilliant system in the Memory Game, making her even with Yuu and Miyuki. Although she hates to lie, she did all that.

She’s a really helpful person and always tries to be useful. Giving her all, she tried to teach Miyuki playing volleyball and singing – which wasn’t easy. Soon, she was really annoyed by his initial inability, but she still didn’t quit helping him.

Chika calls herself “love detective” and is really interested in every love story between her classmates. She loves to give advice for couples, although she never had a boyfriend before. She can be very sharp if it comes to analysing the feelings of Miko Iino or Yuu, but somehow she notices nothing of the feelings between Kaguya and Miyuki.

She’s really curious. If she thinks of something funny in her head, she wants to turn it into reality. That’s why she tried to make Miyuki say “Wiener”, what would have embarrassed Kaguya. Because of her former success, Miko is a big fan of Chika and always listens to what she says. Chika knows that and uses it to her advance sometimes to have fun. She minimises compliments but on the other hand, insults are harming her or making her angry. So, one time, when Miko said only good things about her to Yuu and Miyuki, she took it off as nothing special but immediately felt insulted as Miko said something not so bad.

She has an obvious talent for eating ramen. After she returned from her vacations, she surprised the “Ramen-Eater-Pro” Saborou Odajima with her ultra-secret technique that she used to eat ramen in a small restaurant.

Even if she does not notice, she destroys pretty much every romantic moment between Miyuki and Kaguya. For example, she ate the last dumpling at the very moment both of them needed it to use their brains in a love battle. Therefore, Kaguya often sends Ai Hayasaka to interrupt Chika in her activities, which gives her more time with Miyuki.
