Deca-Dence (2020)

Many years have passed since humanity was driven close to extinction after the arrival of the unknown entities called Gadoll. Those humans who survived this catastrophe now live in a 3000-metre high, mobile fortress named Deca-Dence, which was only built to protect humanity from the dangers of the Gadoll.

The inhabitants of Deca-Dence are split into three categories, which are Gears and Warriors, who fight the Gadoll every day, and Tankers, who do not have the necessary abilities to take on the Gadoll. One day, Natsume, a Tanker girl who lost her father and her right arm in a Gadoll attack and has since been dreaming of becoming a Gear, meets the grumpy Kaburagi, who himself was once a famous Warrior, but now is merely a mechanic in Deca-Dence.

This fated meeting between a girl with a positive disposition who never gives up her dreams, and a realist who has long since left his dreams behind, might end up determining the future of this world.

Viele Jahre sind vergangen seit die Menschheit durch das plötzliche Auftauchen der unbekannten Lebensformen namens Gadoll an den Rand des Aussterbens getrieben wurde. Die Menschen, die diese Katastrophe überstanden haben, leben jetzt in der 3000 Meter hohen mobilen Festung Deca-Dence, die nur gebaut wurde, um die Menschheit vor der Gadoll-Bedrohung zu schützen.

Die Einwohner Deca-Dences sind in drei Kategorien eingeteilt: Gears und Krieger, die täglich gegen die Gadoll kämpfen, und Tanker, die nicht über die nötigen Fähigkeiten verfügen, um es mit den Gadoll aufzunehmen. Eines Tages trifft Natsume, ein Tanker-Mädchen, das ihren Vater und ihren rechten Arm bei einem Gadoll-Angriff verlor und seitdem davon träumt, eine Gear zu werden, den mürrischen Kaburagi, der selbst einst ein großer Krieger war, doch jetzt nur noch ein Rüstungsmechaniker von Deca-Dence ist.

Dieses zufällige Treffen zwischen einem Mädchen mit positiver Einstellung, das seine Träume niemals aufgibt, und dem Realisten, der die seinen längst hinter sich gelassen hat, könnte letztendlich den zukünftigen Kurs dieser Welt bestimmen.

Ya han pasado muchos años desde que la humanidad estuvo al borde de la extinción por la aparición repentina de unos seres desconocidos llamados Gadoll. Los que sobrevivieron esta catástrofe ahora viven en Deca-Dence, una fortaleza movible ubicada a 3000 metros de altura que fue construida para protegerlos de la amenaza de los Gadoll.

Los habitantes de Deca-Dence están divididos en tres categorías: gears y guerreros, que luchan a diario contra los Gadoll, y tankers, que no tienen la capacidad de enfrentarse a un Gadoll exitosamente. Natsume es una chica tanker que ha perdido a su padre y a su brazo derecho en un ataque Gadoll y desde entonces sueña con convertirse en gear. Un día se encuentra con Kaburagi, un chico gruñón que alguna vez fue uno de los guerreros más poderosos, pero ahora es solo un mecánico de armaduras en Deca-Dence.

Este encuentro espontáneo entre dicha chica optimista que nunca se da por vencida con sus sueños y un chico realista que los dejó atrás hace mucho tiempo podría cambiar el futuro de este mundo.

De nombreuses années se sont écoulées depuis que l’humanité a été poussée au bord de l’extinction par l’apparition soudaine de formes de vie inconnues appelées Gadoll. Les humains ayant survécu à cette catastrophe vivent désormais dans la forteresse mobile Deca-Dence, haute de 3 000 mètres, construite dans le seul but de protéger l’humanité de la menace des Gadolls.

Les habitants de Deca-Dence sont répartis en trois catégories : Les Gears et les Warriors, qui combattent les Gadolls au quotidien, et les Tankers, qui n’ont pas les compétences nécessaires pour affronter les Gadolls. Un jour, Natsume, une fille Tanker ayant perdu son père et son bras droit lors d’une attaque de Gadoll et qui rêve depuis de devenir une Gear, rencontre le grincheux Kaburagi. Ce dernier était autrefois un grand guerrier mais à présent, il n’est plus qu’un simple mécanicien d’armures pour Deca-Dence.

Cette rencontre fortuite entre une fille optimiste n’abandonnant jamais ses rêves et le réaliste qui a depuis longtemps laissé les siens derrière lui, pourrait bien déterminer le l’histoire future de ce monde.

Molti anni sono passati da quando l’improvvisa apparizione di una forma di vita aliena, chiamata Gadoll, portò l’umanità sull’orlo dell’estinzione. Le persone che sono sopravvissute alla catastrofe, vivono ora in una fortezza alta 3000 metri, Deca-Dence, che è stata costruita solo per proteggere gli esseri umani dai Gadoll.

Gli abitanti di Deca-Dence sono suddivisi in tre categorie: i Gears e guerrieri, che combattano quotidianamente contro i Gadoll, e i Tanker che non posseggono qualità sufficienti per combattere contro i Gadoll. Un giorno Natsume, una ragazza Tanker che ha perso il padre ed il braccio destro durante un’incursione dei Gadoll, e da allora sogna di diventare un Gear, incontra il musone Kaburagi, anch’egli una volta un grande combattente che però ora è solo un meccanico delle armature della Deca-Dence.

Questo incontro casuale tra una ragazza ottimista, che non rinuncia ai suoi sogni, ed il realista che ha sotterrato da tempo i suoi di sogni, potrebbe alla fine stabilire il corso futuro di questo mondo.
